1. Soak the siphon filter in warmed water for 5 minutes.
  2. Drop the filter into the center of the upper bowl.
  3. In order to secure the filter, pull the chain. Then place the upper bowl into the holder.
  4. Light the burner.
  5. Put the lower bowl over the flame and wait for the water to rise up to the upper bowl.
  6. Adjust the flame until the water in the upper bowl reaches the temperature of 188 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Add the desired amount of coffee grounds into the top bowl.
  8. Gently rub the top layer of the ground/water mixture for no more than 30 seconds.
  9. Allow the coffee to brew for 20 – 40 seconds.
  10. Stir the mixture no more than 12 times.
  11. Separate the pot from the flame and turn off the burner.
  12. Allow the coffee to descend into the lower bowl for 30 – 45 seconds.
  13. Remove the upper bowl and rinse the filter.
