1. Fill press and coffee cup(s) with hot water to prep. Pour out water.
  2. Spoon in the desired amount of coarse ground coffee into the press.
  3. Heat desired amount of water to 205 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Pour water into the press and ensure all coffee grounds are wet (plunger and lid should remain out of the press).
  5. Stir and let sit for four minutes.
  6. Remove crema from the surface with a spoon.
  7. Fill the rest of the press up with heated water.
  8. Place lid on top of the press, but do not press down the plunger.
  9. Let sit for another five minutes.
  10. Steadily press the plunger down completely.
  11. Use the mesh strainer to pour the coffee into your cup and enjoy.
