Oolong Tea: (also known as wulong tea) is allowed to undergo partial oxidation. The flavor of oolong tea is typically not as robust as blacks or as subtle as greens, but has its own extremely fragrant and intriguing tones. Our Rhubarb Oolong is blended with chunks of dried rhubarb to produce a sweet, smooth, medium-bodied tea with a distinctive rhubarb tang. Use 1 rounded teaspoon (3 grams) per cup (8 oz) of water at 190 degrees. Do not use boiling water - visually, the water should have gentle steam with no bubbles. Steep for 3 - 5 minutes and then enjoy! Our 2 oz bag makes approximately 24 cups of tea. For Iced Tea, use 2 rounded teaspoons steep as normal and pour over ice.
Notes: All tea may be steeped at least twice and still retain most of its flavor. Also, for stronger flavor add more tea, not time, because teas may taste bitter if over brewed.
