Zany Kitchen
"After years of searching out kitchen stores whenever and wherever I traveled, I finally realized how much I enjoyed spending time in them. I love the gadgets, the quality cookware and the potential each piece contributes to a good meal prepared with gusto or an evening of fun with friends and family. It was only a matter of time before I decided to open a store with all of my favorite items, in Cheboygan. It's important to me to support our local merchants and downtown renaissance. If I can do that with a kitchen store, it's my home run!"

Give Half Cafe
108 Million people in the US drank coffee yesterday*. If 3,000 did so out of a bag of GiveHalf Cafe coffee, they would have completely funded a sustainable well in Ethiopia bringing clean water to 500 people. We founded GiveHalf cafe because we wanted to find a way to help. The statistics on poverty are overwhelming, 30,000 children die each day from hunger or preventable diseases. 1 billion people live on less than $1.00/day. At GiveHalf cafe you can make a difference. In addition to buying only fair or directly traded organic coffee, GiveHalf Cafe donates 1/2 of its profits to charitable organizations fighting extreme poverty

Food For Thought Magazine
foodforthought focuses on all aspects of West Michigan food:
preparing it, sharing it, where we go to eat it, and who produces it.
Everyone is interested in food, whether they prepare it at home or
not, so we go beyond recipes with the stories of local producers or
purveyors. Because food is a vibrant part of everyone’s heritage, we visit West Michigan residents with interesting food traditions. If there are new specialty food vendors or individuals producing artisanal foods, readers meet them in the magazine’s pages.
